About the Group

The International Committee on Contaminated Land (ICCL) is a network of contaminated land policy makers, regulators, experts and technical advisors. The network was initiated in 1993 and developed as part of a wider history of emerging collaboration and international exchange.

ICCL serves as a forum for international exchange of knowledge and experiences and cooperation with regard to the management and treatment of contaminated land. It provides a discussion platform on policy, research, technical and managerial concepts of contaminated land. ICCL promotes partnerships between country experts and many different stakeholders (industry, scientists, services and technology providers, funders …).

The forum is open to any country representative who wants to discuss and freely exchange with his/her peer, for the benefit of all participants.

ICCL holds biennially meetings targeted to experts in the field of remediation of contaminated land, government departments and non-governmental organisations who deal with (the remediation of) contaminated land.
